Ingredients:
1kg pork (cut
in small cubes and wash)
4 onions
(cut in cubes)
Garlic 15
cloves
6 green
chilies (slit them)
1” ginger
4 cloves
2” cinnamon
stick
Lime size
tamarind (soak tamarind in warm water for 15 minutes)
Bayleaf 3
Salt
½ tsp bafat
powder
Dry roast
and Grind the following:
12 dry red chilies
1” cinnamon stick
4 cloves
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
¼ tsp pepper corns
1 tsp mustard seeds
Method:
1. Heat the pot add cloves, cinnamon, bayleaf,
meat, ginger, garlic, tamarind juice, green chilies, salt, powdered spices and
onions. Mix well and add 2 cups of water, cover and cook for 30 minutes.
2. Check for salt, if required add more.
3. Now add bafat powder, and continue
cooking for other 10-20 minutes, or till the meat is tender
