Ingredients:
1 cup of semolina
1 cup of sugar (can add more depending on your tastebuds)
Few cashews and raisins
2 1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup butter
Pinch of cardamom powder
Saffron/ food coloring (optional)
Method:
Melt
butter in a heavy bottomed pan. Add cashews and raisins roast until the
raisins swell and cashews change their color a bit. Now add semolina
and roast on low flame until lightly colored. When you get a nice aroma
from semolina, add sugar and mix it well. Now add  water and increase
heat to medium. When most of the water is absorbed, add a pinch of
cardamom powder and saffron (if using). Stir in gently and cover with a
lid. Cover and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
